About Us

What is Nurvana Global Foundation?

Nurvana Global Foundation (NGF), an Arizona nonprofit organization, will collaborate its resources and efforts with community businesses, the general public and other charitable organizations to accomplish its mission of abolishing starvation. NGF’s objective is to build cottage industry based facilities in undeveloped/underdeveloped countries. These facilities will serve as training grounds to help instruct and educate the local community with basic job skills so that they have the ability to start up local businesses of their own. Thus, transforming impoverished communities into self-sustaining villages and towns.

Why focus on abolishing starvation?

With so many resources at hand in the United States, it is difficult to see that many people are still either malnourished or undernourished. The principal problem is that many people in the world do not have either sufficient land to grow food, or sufficient income to purchase food.  In addition, there are three factors that increase starvation: 1) neglect of agriculture relevant to very poor people by governments and international agencies; 2) the current worldwide economic crisis; and 3) the significant increase of food prices in the last several years, which have been devastating to those with only a few dollars to spend.

Who will receive aid?

It is our intent to go to undeveloped/underdeveloped areas so that we may provide aid to those who are malnourished and underprivileged. According to the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, 925 million people are undernourished, which is 13.6% of the estimated world population of 6.8 billion. 2 Areas of concentration that indicate the most need are Asia and the Pacific (578 million hungry people) and Sub-Saharan Africa (239 million hungry people).

How will we accomplish this vision?

    * General contracting services associated with the manufacturing cost to build facilities in various countries will be provided by Goodstein Properties, Inc., a company with a proven record of minimizing expense and maximizing value of projects.

    * NGF will recruit, hire, and inspire high quality staff members, volunteers, and visionaries who will work alongside with us to implement our plan.

    * NGF will partner with the best people and community leaders, execute the best business practices, learn and use the most effective methods to create a world class organization focused on reaching, transforming, and elevating the quality of life for those in undeveloped/underdeveloped areas.

    * Financial support will be raised in the form of contributions from publicly supported organizations, the general public, and fundraising events sponsored by NGF and held worldwide.
